Idea for an outing for the All Saints' Day holidays

Witness to 1500 years of history, the castle of Brancion, in its majestic autumn dress, seems to have stopped time. You have until November 15 to visit it, so why not take advantage of the upcoming holidays to organize a stay at Les Voiles de Laives?

On the way from Laives to Cluny, there is a steep hill. Above it rise a proud keep and a Romanesque bell tower. This is Brancion. It is reached by a charming road which at every moment provides the walker with picturesque glimpses. The road climbs higher and higher. On the right you come across the romantic Château de Nobles and on the left stands the menhir of the standing stone. Brancion is very close.

A few more bends and you reach the arched gate which is the only access to the castle and the village surrounded by steep ravines. Then you find yourself in the middle of the Middle Ages, with the castle, the market halls, the old houses and the church. From the threshold of the church, you can admire a magnificent panorama. It is a spectacle admirable for its extent, its variety and its harmony.
